From what I can see, hear and read, web3 is still shaping up with a continuum of rapidly emerging capabilities, technologies and experiences. As we enter a new decade of digital transformation, the ability to compete in this decade will require more than just increasing technology and innovation, it will require a competitive vision.
Companies continue to embrace the ever-evolving digital landscape; both for what the future marketing space will look like and also what strategies are needed now for successful implementation in the future. Parameters that are achievable and realistic will be key as marketing initiatives will need to be approached year by year as building blocks to remain digitally relevant and up-to-date. Effectively planting the seeds for the future.
With so many moving parts and Web3 changing by the minute, looking deeper to find the answers to the perfect strategy is difficult. I believe marketers need to tell the story, seeing Web3 as an opportunity, integrating the technology within our strategies to offer a smarter way for consumers to experience brands, and how offline and online can work together to enhance the customer journey. There is also an opportunity to reinvent and reimagine the next phase of growth with the inspiration of passion, speed, and innovation. Marketers need to be savvy enough to adapt to changing trends and emerging opportunities. The best way to prepare for the incoming transformation is to focus on the human experience (HX) digitally and physically and customise that experience and message so you will be in a position to leverage future opportunities. As the decentralised system takes hold, brands and businesses will also need to be transparent, with users taking control of their privacy and data.
